In February 20, 2006, RFID system of the Library of Chengyi University College, Jimei University officially put into operation. It was implemented by Shanghai RFID and set the trend for RFID system in China. The size of the collection is 300 thousand volumes, including the system of self borrowing, librarians, and library workstation label conversion check, 24 hours of self-help books and other equipment, which marks the RFID inspiring step forward in domestic application the library.
