Shenyang children's library was founded in April 1951. The new library (phase I) covers an area of 3318 square meters and was officially opened to the public on June 1, 2017. The new library's service facilities have been fully updated, and RFID intelligent technology has been deployed, which has realized the functions of self-service card handling, self-service borrowing and returning, book precise positioning, self-service bibliographic data retrieval. In the 24-hour self-service library on the first floor, intelligent bookshelves and self-service borrowing and returning system equipment are combined to meet readers' all-day borrowing needs.
